The Peace Dialogue Competition 2026

The Peace Dialogue Competition Nigeria 2026 is a nationwide, youth-led initiative holding structured peace dialogues across all 36 states. Ahead of the 2027 elections, it builds young people’s capacity to use dialogue as a tool for peacebuilding, conflict management, and democratic participation. Each state dialogue produces actionable outputs judged in a national competition, culminating in an awards ceremony.

Building stronger partnerships for peace and good gocernance. It was a pleasure to have the IPGI Convener Uduak-Abasi Akpabio meet with the Austrian Ambassador alongside Dr Caleb Ayuba, Director at the Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution (IPCR). We expressed our sincere appreciation to the Austrian Embassy for its support of the Peace Competition Series, and had meaningful conversations on expanding our collaboration to drive even greater peacebuilding impact. Here’s to stronger partnerships and a more peaceful future.
